No words can express how much I love this gym. Its culture and community is unmatched. The workers Steph and Monique have made my experience at recxpress absolutely unreal. They’re always keen for a great chat and ready to help with anything. They make me feel so welcome and supported, i’m really grateful to have met them through this gym. As a local, this gym is perfect for me. It’s clean, has great equipment and is nearby. I’ve already signed my friend up to recxpress, and I will definitely continue to keep recommending this gym to other bentleigh locals. 😊

Recexpress have been amazing for me during my 6 month stay in Australia, the 24/7 access has been really helpful and I’ll definitely look to sign back up if I come back to the area.

Joining the gym felt quite daunting at first, but seeing a PT was really helpful to me. I had my PT session with Baxter, and I would highly recommend him!! He’s super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He really tailored the session to my fitness goals and motivated me when I needed that extra push. Thanks so much Bax!

A gym that has it all - membership at an excellent price, access to equipment 24/7, monthly challenges to get a free months of use and super friendly staff. I came here knowing nothing about working out to being a regular member. Special shout out to Sam the local PT for helping me get into better shape and making the gym a less intimating space! I also recently did a free body scan to mark my progress over time, fun way to watch my progress. 5 stars from me ⭐️😁

Great no-fuss gym, with all the free weights and equipment you need. PT staff are also very helpful and have helped me adjust my program a few times. A great relaxed place to exercise.

Bentleigh Rec Xpress has everything you need, in a very convenient spot and staff are always lovely!

This is a hidden gem in the suburb of Oakleigh. Spacious and never too busy, plenty of equipment to use for all sorts of things.

I dont live around here but have gone through the free trial and it is a very good gym to workout essentially any time as it is rarely packed and equipment is rarely ever taken. I like the versatility of the gym in terms of equipment in not just strength training but plyometrics and cardio as well. Overall a very good gym to work out in👍

Best gym around Clayton! The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the culture overall is very respectful and conscientious. You get an induction when you sign up that's very comprehensive. It's a small gym, but has everything you need and still has plenty of space in between the equipment. I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a piece of equipment. It's also very clean - no funny smells here! The group fitness classes are great too. They're a bit different every time, the facilitators always let you know how to tailor the exercises to your strengths and needs, and being able to bring a friend along to them makes it a great way to get some extra motivation. Can't recommend this gym enough. You'll feel good coming here, every time.

Really good gym for a relatively small space. Generally not too busy and has everything you would want for hypertrophy, cardio and strength training. Staff is always really nice and say hello. Also not breaking the bank each week which is nice!

I hadn’t been to a gym for decades so was a little apprehensive as an older woman to go back but I always feel very comfortable and safe at this gym. The staff are friendly and they have all the equipment I need. Megan who is one of the personal trainers showed me how to use the equipment and suggested the best workout to do. You get one free personal training session when signing up. Good value for money too. Recommend!

I love Rec Xpress Chelts! The member rates are very competitive for this well equipped, clean,.compact gym. The fact it is open 24 hours is so convenient. All the staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Megan in particular was really helpful in setting an appropriate program for my goals.

I procured my membership last month- everything has been good thus far. The gym is clean, the staff are friendly, and the community in general seems to be amazing. I have nothing to complain about really. Most of the equipment that anyone would need is present, I think. I cannot see why anyone- who is thinking about joining- would not be able to meet their goals here.

Cosy, has most equipment you need, the staff are friendly and approachable. A great spot for a workout.

Quiet, people actually wipe down equipment. Big fans that you can turn on for air control. It is a small gym, but it has all the essentials. Also being open 24/7 is a bonus. Accessing via fitness passport. Would recommend if you live near by, but also don’t make it busy 😅😅
